Smith & Willis HVAC Gives Back
Community is very important to Smith & Willis. As a member of the community we try to give back to the people who support us. Here are some of the past community outreach and charity contributions that we have been happy to be a part of. Smith & Willis has donated all of the labor to complete the HVAC systems for the following unless otherwise noted.
The Pikes Peak Challenge 2013
The Pikes Peak Challenge is a special event of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, a recognized nonprofit organization. We donated to Sean Jones to improve the quality of life for people with brain injuries by connecting survivors with resources to help navigate the path of rehabilitation.
Rivers of Recovery 2013
Rivers of Recover is a facility in Salida, CO for disabled veterans. Rivers of Recovery works to give disabled veterans resources to return to society after service. Our program, which combines outdoor recreational activities with instruction on the self-treatment of symptoms of stress, depression and anxiety, empowers participants to live a life that is no longer restricted by psychological or physical disabilities.
St. Jude’s Dream Home 2011
St. Jude’s Childrens dream home in Castle Rock, CO. The St. Judes dream home earns money for children’s cancer treatment and research by raffling tickets to win the home while local contractors and suppliers donate time and materials to complete the build. It was estimated that $1.1 million was raised for St. Judes in this charity.
Homes for our Troops 2008
Many people partnered together to create a new home for a disabled veteran Matthew Keil in Parker, CO. We are honored to be a part of thanking him for his sacrifice for our country. Watch this touching story.
Denver Children’s Advocacy Center 2009
Facility for abused children in Denver, CO. The DCAC works to improve the lives of children who have been victims of abuse, violence and are at high risk.
